Having some fun w this one.

I took one of my former regulars out for lunch at Sassafrass last Monday afternoon. We were sitting by the window. A couple came and sat at the next table. The guy was about 60 and quite stocky. He looked very much like Steve Bannon. He was casually dressed. The girl was about 25, blonde and stunning. She was wearing heels, a tight red dress and patterned nylons. Bright red lipstick and hair brushed back.

I would bet the house that she was paid to go on that lunch. And I would love to know who she was and meet her.

Anyone out there who would know who that lady was and give me her Twitter page or website?

Slightly different topic, there is a waitress there that I have had a crush on for like 2 years lol. Used to go with my buddy all the time. they have a really good wine selection and you dont have to break the bank with the food to get the wine good california reds for a french restaurant lol. Sassafraz replaced the previous restaurant known as the Belair Cafe. Both restaurants are long after Yorkville was a 60's hippie hang out with live music.

Former Regular wanted to eat in Yorkville. It was Sassafrass or Cafe Nervosa.

I always like the oysters, but perversely we ended up ordering something else.....
