Hi gang, either I was given a sob story tonight, or there should be equal rights case against Ottawa strip clubs. I was wondering if anyone else has heard that Ottawa strip clubs will only allow 2 black girls on the floor at a time? I went to Caberet Canada tonight and met a tall slim black woman. She was nice and talkative. She told me that she was just starting to dance again and she went to every club in Ottawa/hull, and she was turned down because of the fact that she was black and that they had enough black girls on the roster. So she ended up at CC.

Just an FYI, it looks like they are renovating CC and the champaign rooms are now just stalls with no privacy wall, and they have made some new stalls in the back room. There were about 4 or 5 girls working tonight, and I would say that 2 where 8's and the others were 6's.

i worked with 2 black girls in the past not even customers wanted them...
wouldnt even look at them...thats why they are either strippers or escorts..well most of them..but all i'm trying to say is that its not right...

Well not at Barb's is all I can say. There many not be many Black women that work there, but quite often there are 4 ladies. Two of which are great dancers and fun to be with. Not that the others aren't but there are only so many hours in the day.

There are ladies of all races represented. If anyone could prove this romour, the club would have serious issues with the law and rightly so.

There are so many better reasons to dislike people other than the colour of their skin! (Think that is a paraphrase from George Carlin, one of the oldies anyway.)

In a business where appearance is the most important criteria, I think it's fine to discriminate on who you hire by their looks. You know what type of girls draw customers and if the balance is skewed then business will suffer.
A black woman will be hired more readily in a multicultural city like Montreal or Toronto than in Ottawa.

As much as it pains me to say it, it is all business. If you go to a strip club owner, you know the ladies who are most often selected for private dances here in Ottawa. Hell my friend was turned down because she wasn't tanned enough and she was a natural blonde. Perhaps it is just because I have an Asian thing going on, the strip clubs seriously need to hire more Asian girls. It is very rare to see an Asian girl not get lots of attention in a strip club.

To get back to the original topic, yes I have heard this claim before. Is it right, no, but you can't force customers to take girls to the champagne room. Perhaps there may exist a Government Program to address this inequity in the future.... And I like my black girls so please don't think this is a race thing on my part. I am the UN of fornication... but still live in reality.

I am attracted by certain types of women. Black women do not turn me on, neither do asian women. I like fair skinned caucasian women and any colored skin east indian women. I would never discriminate by race or color in important things, but when a naked woman is giving me a lap dance I will pay only for what I prefer.

don't understand the bias

I've seen and had dances (and more) with many beautiful black women in SCs. Some of the best times were with them. Almost gaurenteed higher quality mileage.

Also saw a black girl named Cindy at the old Imperial Massage (closed a year or so) on Somerset. Great massage and excellent time, place closed before I could get back to see her 2nd time. Hadn't occurred to me but she is the only black woman I remember seeing in an MP.

Ottawa (most of Canada really) has such a diverse cultural mix that this is very puzzling. Canada is one of the most aggressive countries in persuing immigrants which explains the ethnic diversity. Why on earth don't guys want to see black women in MPs? The black excorts and strippers do very well it seems.

Black girls in SCs

There are no informal agreements or rules among the different clubs, that I have ever heard of in my more than a decade in various ones around the area. The clubs do communicate, from time to time, but there's no love among the owners.

First fact: there are always a LOT of Black girls trying to get onto the floor of clubs. If clubs allowed them all in, some clubs would end up with 50 percent Black girls some weekends. (And the Playmate has come close, some nights when biz is slow and the regular girls don't want to work.)

Second fact: Ottawa area SC patrons aren't particularly hot on Black girls.

Third fact: a disproportionate number of them are pimped, period. Club owners know that perfectly well and some don't want "run" girls, or too many of them, as they tend to bring trouble: who do you think is going to be more aggressive in making "dirty" money in the CRs? Some of this is pretty low-grade pimping, no beatings and that stuff, but they are still expected to bring home more than stories.
