Rogers media using children to take a poke at Mayor Miller and organized labour. Special is one word for it. There should be a corollary to Godwin's Law ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_law ) that says 'once they trot out the children / think of the children sentiment you should automatically lose any debate no matter how right you may or may not be. 
Just saw the latest broadcast on Rogers local, thanks to PVRs and almost a waste of time. The callers were evenly balanced , give or take and the concentration on interviews focusing on kids went flat.
So much for local tv. but then the talking heads have to start somewhere. Lookout A! Channel.
