so with the end of the year and the end of the contracts coming what do you think will happen?

we all know bubba is going to radioio, who of you, if any of you will follow him there?

how many of you are going to wait to see what howard does and will you keep your sirius radio regardless if he comes back or not? where do you think he will go if he doesn't stay?

I've been a sirius subscriber for about 5 years now and I love the product. I've been a Stern fan for many years but honestly I've listened to Stern less in 2010 than any other year. Frankly he's boring now, he's had too much therapy which makes him feel bad for saying nasty things about other people or groups which made him funny in the first place. Also with the whole Artie issue the show has way too much Robin. I was never really a Robin hater like so many others but with her increased role I can see why people find her annoying. After Artie left the show it completely lost it's edginess. Artie is one of the finest examples of the be careful what you wish for cliche. Give a man a half a billion dollars and a trophy younger wife and watch complacency take over. Still looking forward to the History of Stern part 4 though. I wish Bubba was staying even though I don't listen to him all that much since there is other shows I want to listen to during his time period. When I did listen I always found him and his crew funny especially Ned.

I have a lifetime sub so I obviously will stay with sirius product. I love it for long road trips plus as a sports fan you couldn't ask for a better product. Only wish I had the forethought to buy my radio in the U.S.

I haven't heard Howard Stern in years, but I used to like when he would create a panel of judges (usually to judge women who wanted to be in Playboy) and would get guys like Ralph the Fag, Ronnie the Limo Driver, and King of All Blacks.

It's too bad his Saturday night TV show didn't last. The production values were cheap, but there was some pretty funny stuff, such as "Handicapped Star Search."

Stern plays this game every contract. He did it numerous times at K-Rock. He has a boat load of stock. He leaves... the stock tanks. He will renew. I agree that he is getting boring. Rich spoiled brat with emotional problems and a super hot wife...yeah he still represents his audience demographic...not!

He's still King of All Media -- with only 7 shows left, it's really cutting to the wire.

I don't think Sirius XM will be able to re-sign Howard. They've made some really bad financial (Not the most cost-effective in bringing in subscribers) blunders by signing Oprah, Opie & Anthony, Dr. Laura, Eminem, etc.
And, I'm sure that's relevant in negotiations.

Whatever became of Jackie the jokeman. I know Robin hated him for some reason and he mysteriously disappeared from the show 10 years ago or so.

Howard is the best at what he does, but is no longer at his best. Sirius is in bad shape, and no way is he getting another 500M contract.

The Stern show is no longer funny, has D list guests, and is full of the very hypocrisy they used to relentlessly attack.

The king is dead.

he held out for more money that the company wasn't willing to pay him. he has been back on and has a show on the stern channels.

JASON ELLIS is the future ! RED DRAGONS !!!! faction sirius28/xm52
thats fucking funny right there. the guy has been in radio for 2 maybe 3 years tops, has a small fan base of late teen early 20 year old fags that live at home with their parents still and when sirius decides he is no longer worth it they will ditch him and he will be gone from radio forever. did you not hear ellis say he would sell out his fans and sign the same deal bubba did if it was ever offered to him.

While I love listening to Stern, he really does come across as a whiny bitch re: his contract negotiations. The constant references to the show ending, trying to guilt trip the owners, oh what's going to happen to my staff, wha wha wha. He sounds very petty.

He went off yesterday on the CFO who reported Stern may have to take a pay cut. If anything bothers Stern it's money (he really fulfills the Jewish stereotype). He's consumed by how much money people make, including himself. How dare someone suggest he take a pay cut!! Maybe Howie needs to wake the fuck up and realize the state of the economy he's in.

most rich people don't have any idea about the economy because they are rich and it doesn't really matter to them.

Two different cars. One car has a portable unit and the other has a built in unit. You just need one subscription to access the internet or use the iPhone app. You can't get Howard 100 or 101 with the Sirius iPhone app.
