Montreal did pretty well against Boston this season. If there were to be a sweep in the first round, I would not count on this match ending in 4. Besides, at least Montreal has hockey the last few playoff seasons and, even though no cup, last year was pretty fun.Back to the name calling. lol

Btw, a note to the Sabres vs Flyers series, the Sabres had a chance to put away the more talented and deeper team called the Flyers in game 6. They failed due to inexperience and mistakes. Now the Flyers forced game 7. The smaller Sabres forwards are dropping like flies, first Pomminville, then Connolly. The former was cut badly in one lower leg by a Flyer. Connolly was the casualty of a cheap shot to the head by Richards’ boarding. The good doc is not surprised the inconsistent and hypocritical NHL led by Buttman did not suspend Richards. Game 7 is so huge and mean so much to the Flyers!!! Who cares about a small market team called the Sabres!!!
Unless if the Sabres’ owner Pegula can perform magic and get the Sabres to play inspirational hockey, the Flyers will have the edge in game 7. Who wins depends on how momentum swings in the game. Momentum and confidence are a key part to winning. Not much divides many of these teams. I think the Sabres and Flyers are extremely well matched and I think game 7 is a toss up. I knew it would go 7 and I predicted Buffalo so I will stand by that. Losing Connolly isn't that big but the loss of Pominville, a very good two way player, hurts. And I hate to say it but I think the Canucks are toast. Vigneault did the team a great disservice by benching Luongo. The Hawks have all the momentum and confidence. The Nucks are playing tight.

There is such a thing as over confidence, that's what the Canucks were guilty of in game 4. Chicago is the defending Stanley Cup champs they were playing for pride.
This series actually reflects Miller's season well. Games 1 and 4 represent Miller the world class goalie who single-handedly stoned the offensively talented Flyers. He was average in the other games in the series. Which Miller will show up in game 7 may very well determines which team win the series. If the Sabres do not have so many injuries in the series, the good doc's heart and intellect vote for the Sabres to win game 7. For now, the heart is for the Sabres but the intellect says the Flyer has the edge. The previous 6 games could have gone either way. Come game 7, if the Sabres lay their entire effort on the ice, play a focused, disciplined game with heart, true grit, and passion, they should pull out another win, especially when Miller can perform like a world class goalie he thinks he is. May Pegula magic and the force be with the Sabres.
The best revenge for knocking Connolly out of commission is for the Sabres to knock the Flyers out of playoffs. The Sabres should take that as their mission. One of the Pegula magic is getting the Sabres to believe they can win and win as a team despite playing a more superior and deeper team. The Sabres want to win, especially for him as the fan and the owner. Look for the Sabres to turn the Flyers into cryers tomorrow. LOL!!!
