I don't know is it just me or the rest of you finding out advertising photos of girls are horribly done. Well.....most of them at least.

I personally met few of the girls that are advertising here, CL, as well as other escort web sites, and photos just don't do the justice.
I understand that most of ladies don't want face to bi shown, but there are few cheep tricks that can dramatically improve quality of photos and I am sure increase number of clients.

If any of ladies need help with photos be free to message me. I will do my best to help you out with few tips with posing, lighting and generally photo taking techniques.

I will not ask you for any payment or any returned favors.

For many years I shoot models professionally and I can give you useful tips even if you have cheep digital cameras.

Dude, thats the whole point.
Lousy, shaky, fuzzy pics = B&S
The SP's hide their imperfections or lie outright using fake pics in order to drum up business because they themselves are trying to hide whatever.
Reputable SP agencies use pro photogs. Just look at Mirage or Cupid's.
Redzone, CL, Eros, etc. do you really expect them to be real or professional?

The others are as dj1470 stated... to lie and mislead.

I'd agree that some girls' pictures are less than professional (I'm trying to be polite).

I do use a professional quality camera (Nikon D60), but I am far from being perfect on how to use the camera and lighting. I always welcome constructive criticism or the opportunity to speak with knowledgable people on technique.

I know my pics aren't perfect, but I do show myself and my imperfections, and would encourage other girls to do the same. I'd rather have someone uninterested in booking than see that look of disappointment when they arrive.

Real for sure. Professional, not necessarily. I am just suggesting that what ever they are trying to accomplish, there are better ways.
I was not talking about fake CL ads, but about SPs and MPs we visit and review here.

As for me, What you see is what you get. I have no problem showing my imperfections. some have said that my photos don't do me justice, but that's their opinion, I'm sure not everyone shares it.

I agree that most of the pics of KW girls are counter productive. They have to look better than the godawful pics they post. I would not pick one girl in KW based on their pics. And that included asa.

Add me as another in agreement that the quality of photos of local SPs is substandard, mostly amateurish and generally lousy.

I have not heard that story, but that was certainly a horseshit thing for any professional photographer to do, and I would expect that photographer to be dropped like a hot potato and sued if a contract was violated. There are good reputable professionals out there who will work for reasonable fees or trade modelling fees for art work, and these pros are extremely loyal and want to do everything to retain their clients, not piss them off and betray them. It's really not much different from the services SPs offer - bullshit artistes get exposed quickly.

This would be the main reason why we dont have a professional come in and do them, none of the girls trust anyone to do them and i personally dont blame them.

If as you say above is right, then surely a professional SP or agency should form a professional relationship with a photographer they can trust. Believe me, they do exist, not every photographer is a slimeball. Do a background check on the photographers' work. Then get a contract (or "model release") statement signed with simple usage, copyright, ownership rights detailed. There are several standard legal forms that can be used, probably available for .pdf downloads online. If a worker wants to see a simple release form, private message me.

It can be a turn-on, yes, but the viewfinder detaches the photographer. A good professional isn't taking simple snapshots; he/she is concentrating on lenses, shutter-speeds, filters, f-stops, composition, focus, lighting and exposure.

I'm reluctant to mix analogies of sex and death, but the same photographic detachment applies. When I see a rotting corpse covered in maggots, I recoil in disgust. But place a camera viewfinder in front of my eye, the emotional connection (the revulsion or attraction) evaporates and I can't get close enough trying to create a good image. You're trying to tell a story, even if the plot of the story is as elemental as "desire." The mentality of a good photographer is all about the picture, producing an honest relationship with the subject, and everything else is a distraction.
