I'm no expert, but I've traveled to Turkey a few times as tourist. The last thing that would cross my mind is to look for SPs while in Turkey. Check the laws. Even if it is legal, I would not. I just would not feel comfortable, but then that is just me. IMHO, there are so many other great places in the world if you are looking to spend time with SP's

Yes, weird is exactly what it feels like when it comes to authorities, government, etc. Not to mention the political instability (coup attempt) of 2016. Tourism has suffered a great deal and it will take a lot of time to recover.

I've heard that there are a lot of eastern european SPs live in turkey specially in Istanbul that you can pick up at bars or night clubs but I personally don't recommend that. You're traveling to a muslim country with laws that are changing every minute depending on who you are, corrupt police and plain clothes muslim militia that are opportunistic in every sense and not affarid of hurting american or western european tourists. I would personally abstain from any sexual encounters until I'm out of the country.

Your comment reminded me that Istanbul has many foreign escorts such as East europeans and also Russians. If anyone who is interested in a Turkish escort, the experience can be much more easily attained in Frankfurt, Germany as a reference.
