SPs in hunting lodges?

I was listening to CBC radio this morning and thought I heard wrong...a hunting lodge in New Brunswick was busted for being a brothel?

Seriously, how would you even find a place like this? Do you suppose they actually operated as a hunting lodge? Is this just some messed up east-coast thing?

I'm getting all kinds of warm fuzzies now thinking about bearskin rugs and flannel.

Standing on a nice indoor range capping off rounds at a paper target is a far cry from sitting in a blind at 5am or dressing a fresh deer...

Very true. Given that I have seen her scampering like a young mountain goat along the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon and on another occasion exploring the High Desert I am confident she could easily handle the physical demands of wilderness hunting.

She spotted a mountain goat before I did so I know she also has the observation skills and is aware of her surroundings. Given her reactions to scorpions and her omnivorous culinary tastes as long as it was prepared by a good to excellent chef I know she would devour it. But since we have never talked about it I am not certain she would be interested in killing animals.

On the other hand other than tracking and dispatching a wounded bear now and then I pretty much leave the BLR at home and just carry a SLR. And I know she loves taking pictures.

Personally I think the idea of it is great. Now if they were actually using it as a hunting lodge too. I think that might just be every heterosexual, testosterone seeping ,pumped up males DREAM.

You get to be out in the woods without any nagging estrogen around.

Get all liquored up.

Then get all fired up.

Hopefully kill something.

Brag to your buddies.

Throw a few more back.
