I have done spinning class for years.
Nothing more motivating than the sweaty derriere of the girl in front of me, in a standing sprint, bobbing to the beat of Tina Turner's 'Riverboat Queen'

Ever go up to a woman leaving a spin class and try and start a conversation with "So you're a spinner?"

I haven't either. Could be fun though.

Somewhere on a golf course
here is one for you..

Several years ago when I was seeing Meriam she told me she went to a spinning class and I actually thought she meant a sewing/quilting class. Can you imagine sitting behind her ia a spinning class and watching that great ass of hers for 45 minutes...I get excited just thinking about it..

There is an episode of HBO's Cathouse where the guy has a duo, except, while he's banging the one girl the other is riding on a spinning bike so he can stare at her ass.

Some guys really are freaks. :p

You are starting to worry me. Have you ever thought that you have a "cycling addiction" and should seek professional help or consider retiring? Studies have shown that a "cycling addiction" could be worse than an "SP addiction".

THAT doesn't worry me in the least... LOL!

I think my addiction to TERB surpasses both of those!

Why... yes, but for entirely different reasons.
Glad to hear he'll be riding Milan-San Remo and the Giro this round. Less French, more Italian is good.

A fan I am.

LA's starting the TDU this week, then the ToC next month before possibly starting some of the Classics, with Milan-San Remo confirmed. I'll be in northern CA on business at the same time as the ToC and will be checking out some of the stages.

Can't wait for the clash of the titans at this year's Tour: LA, Basso, Contador, Schleck, Sastre, Evans, Valverde, Menchov, Cunego.

Not a fan of Treks in general. Having said that, I wouldn't mind the top end Madone with the SRAM Red group and carbon hoops.

I read an article on LA and he is a physical marvel. For example, did you know that his standing heartrate is 35 (normal is 70)?

Yes I read that too, as well as highly developed lung capacity (common with many world class athletes), but the thing that makes Lance truly unique is his body's ability to either produce LESS lactic acid (the byproduct of intense exercise) build up in his muscles, or his body's ability to burn through it faster making it LESS likely for his muscles to cramp. Lactic acid is naturally produced in the body through intense exercise, and if the levels get too high, the muscles cramp... Lance's, strangely do not...

Michael Phelps also has many of these same physical characteristics.

So what you are saying is it isn't my fault that I get winded walking around the block but rather my genetic makeup. :p

LMFAO! Good answer wangbang!

That... and maybe the copious amounts of sugar and sodium you may have consumed over the years thereby giving you LOTS of "stored" calories!

What ever works for you dude...;)

Bjorn Borg, onetime tennis phenom (5 consecutive Wimbledon titles; 6 French Open titles) also had an inhumanly low heart rate, and high endurance capability. No doubt, there's some correlation between the two. I've often thought Lance should be forced to ride a fixed-gear bike, to even things out.

However, to be honest, my interest in cycling is geared more towards this speed :p
