im confused if I should even bother posting them on LL or just keep them to my twitter

Twitter for sure. I don't even look at LL anymore, it's become predominantly scams and nonsense. You can clearly see history and any genuine interactivity on Twitter, which takes some time and work. For me it weeds out the nonsense, so I will always look there first.
