One reporter walked from Spadina stn to Queens Quay- 50 min
Another took the bus- 1.5 hrs
Another rode bike-23 minutes

.
I'm relieved to see that no one was foolhardy enough to try and drive a car. It might have taken 3 or 4 days, given city council's lane closure and other bullshit.

I didn't know about this. I cannot imagine the mess. Kind of another eglinton.

Take about 35 minutes to walk 3.4km FFS back when I was in my 20s.

And how fast was that bike going to do the distance when its pouring rain, 25 degrees or in the middle of winter. NA because almost nobody would bother they would all just crowd other transport means. [Note I said almost nobody not nobody]

Eglinton LRT raised to the level of cluster fuck to the nth degree. The construction crew laying the track got the gauge wrong, did they leave their yardsticks at home that day?
As a reference the Trans Canada Railroad took 4 years to complete through forests, mountains, crossing rivers, etc
