At the risk of exposing myself, I too am involved in the aerospace industry and have worked extensively down at KSC. Having spent many months at KSC preparing bits that go into orbit, I have nothing but respect for the folks there. Some of the most competent people I've come across in life. It's no small feat to get the Shuttle into orbit. It's a machine, no matter how much you prepare, it's impossible to cover everything. Machines do fail, sometimes catastrophically. Hence, to hear the ill-informed masses ignorantly discuss the Shuttle is laughable and somewhat irritating. Kudos to you for being a rocket jockey.

Congratulations Tech72 on your contributions to the Space program, and so sorry to have irritated your ego somewhat with my previous comments and suggestions. But you know, a little more friendly civility in your responses and perhaps a link or two for us poor ignoramuses to refer to, based on your background and experience, and maybe, just maybe, the ignorant masses would not be so ill-informed.

I knew you weren't because I've never seen you at any of our meetings, plus you NEVER stayed at the Holiday INn Express, you just stood in the lobby for awhile.

Great. Shot a lot better today I was using a Baretta. Saturday with the Sig was not as good.

Unfortunately we are in an indoor range, something about the owners legal liability if they let me use their guns and ammo in the streets.

I was using the LAPD, body cavity vital organ points score targets today.

The complementary happy two hours is underway in the Hotel so I better get going.
