I was thinking of putting together somewhat of an informal seminar for the SP's who do their own photos. Cover some things that could help them with lighting, posing when using a timer and minor image editing to correct florescent lights etc.

Just looking for some feedback, or maybe some of the things that would be of interest if I put something like this together for small groups af 4-5 people.

How about teaching them how photoshop and airbrush their photos.

You're talking about basics like this right? lol

When I was teaching Photoshop for a college, I found that 90% of the students I had wanted me to teach them how to learn a set of skills to accomplish something more than learn the software.

Everyone's at a different level of skill in Photoshop, so covering topics like that are tough to cover in a short time if everyone's not on the same page. There's lots of tutorials on the subject though if they search for them on the web. Doing it properly though takes practice and patience. Trying to teach photo enhancement to someone eager to skip past the basics might put me closer to a padded white room...lol.

I think something like that would turn into an afternoon of "How do you get a photo to look like ..." more than general tips....lol I might consider it though if there's enough interest.

I'd more likely do something towards people who already have a working knowledge of photoshop.
