Here's a Little twist on ceo8888ca recent thread:

I'm curious as to some innocent anecdotes relayed by the Ladies.

Now keep in mind, the purpose of this thread is not to name names, or give detailed reviews (size, looks, performance, cleanliness etc. - we've been though that discussion) but rather, as I take this hobby in a lighthearted manner, I'm curious to hear about those funny little incidents that occur. eg the client calls out his wife/girlfriends name etc. or forgets/changes the "stage" name he has given the SP

So, lets hear some stories ladies. . .remember, nothing mean!

Hate to disapoint you Selina. . .

not left the building. . . . .(just woke up from another drug induced stupor. . .well, I guess that ruins my chance at another comeback!)

to respond to Ophelia, this is not a metter of "discretion" - as I stated - no names, no specifics physical attributeds, just funny, whimsical annecdotes.

After all, we are all human, and one of the things that binds us as a race is our imperfections and our ability to laugh at ourselves (trust me -I've got a lot of material!). Don't want to turn this into a discourse on Orwellian philosophy, just wanted to keep it lighthearted. . . . .but apearantly, it appears its too late for that. . .what a shame.

You asked for the SP perspective. I'm an SP, and gave you one. You want to keep it lighthearted? Then don't ask for comments and pm me that I 'really must lighten up' when I don't parrot your opinion back to you.

My sessions are a personal exchange between myself and a client, not anecdote fodder, and that should be respected.

What you may consider 'amusing and harmless' may not seem so to a person who recognizes themselves (or thinks they do - more likely the case) and never sees me again.

Well, well, well. . .

Opeilia,

This has become very interesting. I'm sorry if you feel ofended by my pm comment to "lighten up" (a detail you felt obliged to post on this public forum), perhaps you would be equally motivated to repeat how in my pm I also expressed my appologies if in any way you felt I was looking for you to be indescreet which was not my intention (I guess that part of your reply got edited when you posted your note)

I am still amazed at the fact that as one of the main purposes of this forum regarding this unique hobby we partake in, is for its members to review, in excrutiating minute detail their experiences with a particular SP and to share this intimate information with the gazzilions of viewers and then, when in a (yes -here it is) "lighthearted manner" I ask for some waterdown humerous anecdotes from those very same SP's (one might even say - a feministic perspective) to perhaps show us all not to take ourselves that seriously and then get lambasted on how Ophelia wouldn't dignify the thread with an answer. . . .truly, truly amazing. . .

Mind you, I'm not hurt, angry or upset by this. . . .just saddened.

Not a good day in Graceland.

I think you are missing the point Elvis. It's simply a matter of discretion - nothing more.

Unfortunately zydeco (et al)

I think you are missing the biggger point.

I never meant this thread to create angry responses about discretion, confidentiallity, or privacy issues. For God sake - this activity already has enough social demons surrounding it that my misinterpreted attempt at creating a thread which we could all have a little chuckle (at our own expense) may allow the day to go by that much easier.

I'm not trying to stop war, cure cancer or help the needy (all wonderful and noble deeds) - just put a a few moments of laughter ( at no one in particular expense) in our lives.

If certain individuals feel they are incapable of accomplishing this, then so be it. . . don't contribute.

I've gone from looking forward to having a smile put on my face to being deflated

Now I'm sure you have missed the point. But don't worry the sun will shine on Graceland again!

Fab. Here's the whole text...

"As in my terb note, I was not asking for any SP to betray the confidences of their clients - I always like to hear about amusing stories (not mean or specifics) from peoples lives (whether related to the industry or not)."

****I think we all know your viewpoint on this - was there really any need to repeat it yet again?

Did not mean any offence but you really must lighten up.

****Not meaning offence doesn't mean you get carte blanche to not get called on your statements, particularily if your thread specifically asks for my perspective.

"A detail you felt obliged to post in a public forum"

Right. But you think posting amusing details from a private session with a client who has expressly paid for my discretion is a fun idea. That's a little confusing.

If zydeco wants to pm me the top secret menu plan for our next terrorist cell meeting great; if you want to use the pm option rather than posting publicly because you know you'll be nailed for it, too bad.

I'm sorry this didn't go the way you wanted it to, but c'mon - discretion is a cornerstone of an SP's business and a hobbiest's willingness to participate, so surely not wanting to risk that for the purposes of amusement can't be that big a surprize for you.

In celebration of the beautiful sunny day we've got going out here in Raincouver, let's agree to disagree.

Zydeco - a humourless sky is looking down upon Graceland today. . .such a shame. . .

However, one of the things that make our society great is that we are all entitled to our own opinion.

Zydeco - I respect yours (I may not agree with it) as you respect mine.

I must leave now and buy some more tacky furniture for the "jungle room"

I've made my peace with Zydeco (although, Im not crazy to learn about your

"top secret menu plan for our next terrorist cell meeting"

I will repeat for your benefit my earlier sentiment:

". . . just put a a few moments of laughter ( at no one in particular expense) in our lives. If certain individuals feel they are incapable of accomplishing this, then so be it. . . don't contribute.

'nough said. . .

It's funny - I read somewhere that writers have way more problem with people claiming to recognize themselves in a book where the writer is not referring to that individual than with the actual people they are writing about.

It's just human nature.
