Source for Laptop Batteries

[Dougal Short]

I need to replace the battery in my Acer laptop. The store where I purchased it said that I was far better just to order online from a battery specialty site.

Has anyone had a good experience that could point me in the right direction? Google gives up more hits than I care to search through, although these guys (www.ca-battery.com) stood out since they apparently ship from within Canada.


Any input would appreciated!

I used these guys from ebay. I bought a Toshina battery but they have Acer too.

They ship direct from China and were half the best deal I could get in US including S&H. Rec'd 16 days after ordering. So far so good.

Can't say enough about these guys. They are in BC... order today and you will see it day after tomorrow in TO.

I definitely agree - they are cheap and quick. Having said that, I have bought a few things like battery chargers on Ebay and have done pretty well.

I ended up buying from www.battledepot.ca Ordered Friday night (before 5 BC time) and battery was received Tuesday AM!
