So I have noticed a bit of a trend going on. I’m sure I’m gonna get some hate for this from SPs, but I gotta bring it up as I’m noticing it more and more.
i was going through Twitter X this weekend and noticed a young lady that I found attractive and was open to possibly book this week here in Toronto. I checked her bio for any information. Nothing. Just an email address for contact. I did my due diligence and checked here and other directories to see if I could find any more information about this woman, her donation scale, etc. I got no leads. Checked Tryst - nothing.
I decided to send a quick email. I sent her a full introduction of with information about myself, how I found her and inquired if she could tell me or direct me to a website, profile or ad of hers tells gives me a bit more info about her and her rates. Her response was this, “ I don’t share this information unless you are ready to book. Please don’t waste my time. No deposit. No information.“ . I replied by telling her that the requested information will no longer be necessary and to have a good night!
Then as started to scroll through my timeline on X and even check out postings on here, I noticed that there’s a large amount SPs that no longer have sites, ads or postings with basic information like Stats, rates, schedules, etc. any more. It’s now just an email or number to text to book. Has anyone else noticed this? Has anyone else have the same kind of experience? SPs on the board here, maybe you can help me understand here. I’m not trying to stir up shit, but why such a lack of information these days? I know having a website can be expensive and some work maintaining. It was okay when clients were being told to check out websites for more information, but these days that is not even happening. Pictures are great and all, but how would I know if your services are even in my $ range or if our schedules align without contacting you. And when I do reach out, my request for info is met with attitude like if I’m wasting your time by simply inquiring? Expecting me to automatically book because I reached out is a little nuts.
Again, I know this may likely be a one-off experience, but it also seems like releasing limited information is a trend these days.
