If you don't mind the drive what about a romantic stay up in Muskoka...If hiking is your thing, there are some really beautiful trails up in algonquin which is near by, and some nice cabins with fireplaces to get you warmed up again. I went up there two winters ago, there was absolutely no one around, which my friend and I took full advantage of...beside the falls...Now those are some memories I love to bring back.DateMasamune said:Unfortunately, my date said she doesn't want to Niagra Falls cause it "brings back memories" ...
Please help me out on what to do!!!!
Are there some kind of weekend getaways for two? I can have a "sick leave" on Saturday (cause I am off Monday's) which gives me three days for a romantic getaway somewhere. Any ideas??? Please help!!! But no Niagra Falls please!

Hey, thanks for the input. I was thinking about your idea and gave her some hints. Unfortunately, she doesn't want to be out walking in the cold. But like the other user said, Montreal is definitely worth considering ...kat19 said:There are a bunch of weekend places in the Toronto star travel section. I was just looking at them on the weekend. I always love going to a resort or cabin up north...very romatic.
