When I was in the US a few years ago, a relative introduced me to his friend and told him that I was not an American. He asked him to guess where I was from. This friend took quite a few guesses and could not come up wit the correct answer. When he was told that I was from Canada, he sad that people from Canada are Americans, but North Americans.

He's basically saying that Obama is not different than Al Qaeda in that they are both terrorists. I don't agree but see what he is going for. Doesn't make him right, just that I see what he is getting at.
