So many factors but for me the biggest is the changing of the guard, with the current practitioners either forgetting or oblivious to why dances escalated in price in the first place. Can't turn back the clock, but when things reach the point where you feel you can generate more heat by just burning your twenties in the fireplace, well then it's definitely time to turn the page.

The carpet Bar and fixtures been the same 20 or more yrs now, that from the property owner. Not club owner.... rented as a turn key. Owner has a few clubs in Toronto. Guess this one last on his list.

Hi Tiffany, I actually think inside the Gold is a much nicer club the Hamilton Strip. When I said "made something of the place" I meant brought back some great girls and some atmosphere. It's depressing going to the Gold. I was at Pure gold a few weeks before and I was surprized how great it was, really low milage but back to some great sexy girls, filled chairs and a party atmosphere. I could care less about the fixtures or the carpet as long as it doesn't make my skin crawl from filth, I'm talking about you now Jilly's!

Very true Gold is nicer inside. No I am not going back dancing there
