In the US elections are becoming increasingly irrelevant because GOP appointees are in control of election process in many states.
Dystopian future view, but like Curly said: "Day ain't over yet!"...

The gerrymandering is out of hand. Some congressional districts look like abstract art pieces. They need to implement a non-partisan method like we have here in Canada to draw the districts. It would be amazing to see how America would change if it truly had representational elections. But it would likely gut the GOPs political power. Or it might actually force them to run on ideas instead of fear and culture war drama...

If Biden manages to separate the 25% of republicans who think MAGA is a threat to democracy, that could happen.

Yeah, that is a possibility. The real question is, will that 25% vote at all if they don't vote GOP? Either way, it could help the Dems.

But, we all know what is going to happen on November 9th. Any GOP candidate who loses will say the election was rigged and refuse to concede. It will be lawsuit after lawsuit. It will be a bloody mess....

That is the big question, isn't it?

You think it's a question of "if?" We've already seen other GOP folks meltdown for losing primaries. This is certain to happen.
The big if is whether the 25% of republicans who think MAGA is a threat to democracy still vote GOP.
