Unfortunately in Ontario (all of Canada?), the legal age of consent is 14 (under certain conditions). So yes, a 14 year old can legally have sex with a 45 year old (or older for that matter). The only "conditions" if you will are: (1) the adult can not be in a position of "trust" over the young person - ie: their teacher, babysitter etc... (2) the adult can not be "paying" (in any form) for the sex...

So if a 14 year old wants to sleep with an older person of their own free will then it is legal.

This should be changed to 18 IMHO, but that's just me.
