So, life has a way of making one grounded...
Here, all was well.
Returned from my trip abroad, survived it intact..
Only to go out for lunch today at the Honest Lawyer and fall and break my ankle due to negligence!
Didn't even get a chance to drink my beer it happened so fast.
Now, I am not a litigious person but their attitude was horrendous as I was laying on the ground with my ankle ballooning three times its normal size.

So, I took a cab immediately to the hospital, to be drugged up right away(woohoo to meds) and x-rayed then cast.
Now, no one from the restaurant has got back to me even after they were called from the hospital, which annoyed me.
All I could think of was that commercial about Jim the Hammer Shapiro, who'll "squeeze 'em for every dime". He may be an "S.O.B. but he's yourrrrr S.O.B'
When I got home, after struggling up two flights of stairs, with crutches and in tears, I googled "slip and fall" lawyers and contacted Flaherty.
Am assuming I'll get a call back in the morning.
This thread really has no basis other than I'm drugged up, in pain and alone and want to rant.
If anyone has some useful advice, like great lawyers or any information about Avulsion fractures, lol, let me know.
In the meantime, did I mention how good these meds are??

Sorry to hear you're in pain :( What happened there that makes you say their negligence was at fault?

Thanks Diana!! You're too kind.

They have some of their seats placed on a high step, anyhow, the step was covered in globs of some sort of resin or glue..hard to define what it was.
Anyhow, they were slippery and down I went, hard.
Not to mention those tables are in a weird postion for the round booths but the main conrtibuting factor was those things on the step.
I'm grateful I was wearing good runners and not a pair of stilettos or the damage would have been worse.

Taking advantage of the gibbled, eh?
I'm horrible when it comes to hanging out with chicks since I can't stand most of them. That's why I'm not as quick as I could be to chill.
All the 2-faced shit and drama, ugh....
It's a good thing that I think you're cool, somewhat different from the rest.

Ok, I'm babbling now...gotta love morphine.
