Police have charged six people in connection to a shooting that injured two at York University.
Four adults and two youth now face dozens of firearm and drug charges.
Police allege Kemon Edwards, 22, opened fire in the school’s Keele campus student centre cafeteria on March 6. He now faces 17 charges including discharging a firearm, careless use of a firearm and aggravated assault.

After police searched an address in the Steeles Ave. and Jane St. area they found drugs and two guns. Five more people were charged following the search, including two youth.
Edwards was also charged with possession of heroin and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He is known to police.
The other men charged are Dominic Bernard, 20; Alex James, 23; and Jesse Dawson, 23.
The adults charged are expected to make a first appearance at Old City Hall later this afternoon.
The boys, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act are 17 and 16 years old. They are also to appear Friday afternoon at 311 Jarvis youth court.
The additional accused face drug and firearm possession charges.
It’s believed one shooter opened fire at York around 10:45 p.m. March 6, where one woman was shot in the leg and another injured by shrapnel, according to police.
Those women, Annie Malik and Namra Malik (not related), were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and have since been released.

I doubt it. I also find it interesting that the press have refrained from publishing "perp" photographs this doubtless indicates that the defendants are either descendants of Louis Hébert or Colonel John Butler if not both.
