When the carbon tax incentives come out- do you get free money or do you have to pay it yourself?
If one offsets the other, why bitch and moan about it? If Pee Pee wins and eliminates the carbon tax but also takes away your CAIP are you not in the same boat you are today?

Well, let's see, Mulroney brought in the GST, Harper brought in C36 and left Justin with unbalanced budgets and shortfalls and Justin was hit with a novel pandemic that has caused worldwide inflation, and corporate greed. Russia invaded a sovereign country illegally and I don't believe Justin had anything to do with it, do you?

Read the facts then come back and you can answer your own question.

As for WE, do you really think Canadians give a rat's ass?

and no appeal was even done on the rulings....just bending over in a heartbeat...and an apology... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
You prefer the way Ford fought to avoid paying nurses raises or is fighting to keep his mandate secret?

I'd rather settle with nurses than pay a convicted terrorist frank...but I know you don't...

Yeah, that was strange. I think Trudeau/Liberals were saying the court would have awarded more than $10mm (maybe $40mm?).

Wonder how much, if any, Canada will pay Canadian members of ISIS captured in Syria/Middle East?

Ford wouldn't settle with the nurses and I'd rather let the courts rule in general.
he won't because that settlement isn't feasible....ontario's funds aren't only budgeted for health care...Ford doesn't throw around money like JT that's the difference...

Explanation

This notice represents the information processed as of June 21, 2023. Please read it and keep it for your records.

We reviewed your entitlement based on:

- an update to the information on file

We reviewed your eligibility for the CAIP.

You are not eligible for the CAIP for January 2023 for the following reason:

- residency requirement not met

^ exact message from CRA.
I have been renting from a friend with cash to get a good deal, so my name isn't on the lease. And therefore I can't prove that I live here, so I've apparently lost residency requirements.
For the record - I am born and raised in Canada... but because I don't want to sign a lease and pay astronomical amounts for rent - I get to forfeit my residency.
So all-in-all, the 190$ really doesn't burden me financially, but I still had to pay it.
Ah, I see, fair enough but you can't blame the CRA or Justin if your circumstances render you ineligible. Plus they are taking away what they had paid you so that does lessen the burden.

Oh my bad I wasn't blaming Justin. That is my fault, not his haha.
I was just saying I paid and was wondering if anyone else had to pay for some other reason as well.
