Political commentator Dinesh D'Souza explains the left-wing roots of fascism eloquently and compellingly in the following video (5 minutes 37 seconds)
What happened to your old account?D'Souza. Might as well have Candace Owens talk about slavery.
But fascism is a governmental policy of authoritarian rule, not an economic policy that was originally the definition of left and right.
Yep. And don't have access to teh email I registered with. What happened to your old account?

Eloquent and compelling are not synonyms for correct.Political commentator Dinesh D'Souza explains the left-wing roots of fascism eloquently and compellingly in the following video (5 minutes 37 seconds)
I doubt it very much.Yes, this shit was going on. It wasnt just some single person. They held rallies too. The take back the night marches had people holding such signs.
Absolutely.BTW Dworkin had a series of public rows with Camille Paglia (as maybe everyone did w Paglia lol) fighting over what feminism really meant. So it was quite a turbulent time with people always pushing the boundaries in all directions.
No idea who was being insensitive there since I didn't see the whole interaction but it sounds like a pretty fucked up work environment with people being shitheads to each other.BTW on the coding issue I responded that maybe my coding means women have twice the worth of men hoping to make it go away..but I still got criticized, including one who insisted on spelling it womyn. I actually told her (she was a radical lesbianism feminist - her words btw) that she was onto something that I agree I'd much rather have sex with a woman than a bloke and she stewed over that but eventually filed a complaint and I said sorry my cultural differences rendered me insensitive.
D'Souza's quite the authoritative source on fascist views in his own right...Political commentator Dinesh D'Souza explains the left-wing roots of fascism eloquently and compellingly in the following video (5 minutes 37 seconds)
With all do respect, apparently you know my life better than i do lol. But mate i was there. Now, maybe they weren't serious feminists but some splinter extremist wing (they were marxists too) and feminism on campus came in many forms. Maybe just my campus, but no internet back then to gauge how widespread. But extremist groups exist for every movement, even the best ones. And I fear I lived through one. Another incident where a female colleague was cornered at a social gathering and told how she's falling for the patriarchy and the only natural way to be is lesbian and these 2 womyn (their spelling) hectored her (gently at first) for being hetero. These womyn did this every time they saw her such that she went out of her way to avoid them. She says (she's currently a prof at a US uni) that harassment rules have been better articulated in the last 20 or so years, so had that been a recent event she would have for sure filed a title 9 complaint.I doubt it very much.
If this was a common claim that feminists made, it would be everywhere, along with its debunking.
I was at Take Back the Night rallies.
I've never seen any serious proposal of these numbers.
The thing is, there is a lot to criticize in the stats around sexual assault.
It's difficult to get numbers on and you can skew them by being selective about your definitions and so on.
Why invent claims that don't appear to have been made when there are real claims to challenge?
Absolutely.
(And yes, lots of people fought with Paglia because she was famously an asshole.)
There are many feminisms and there have been many views of all sorts of issues under that broader term.
My contention is with your statement that there was a group pushing 90% of women have been raped.
No idea who was being insensitive there since I didn't see the whole interaction but it sounds like a pretty fucked up work environment with people being shitheads to each other.
You said before that people keeping this myth alive have an agenda. With all do respect, apparently you know my life better than i do lol. But mate i was there. Now, maybe they weren't serious feminists but some splinter extremist wing (they were marxists too) and feminism on campus came in many forms.
I'm glad you are kind of backing off the claim "From that they started to bandy about stats like 90% of women were raped." as if it was a thing.Maybe just my campus, but no internet back then to gauge how widespread.
Of course they do.But extremist groups exist for every movement, even the best ones.
She absolutely should have. And I fear I lived through one. Another incident where a female colleague was cornered at a social gathering and told how she's falling for the patriarchy and the only natural way to be is lesbian and these 2 womyn (their spelling) hectored her (gently at first) for being hetero. Yes, they do.Again, this shit and various wild claims were happening on my campus back then. And the extreme nature of it stuck with me to this day. But you're arguing this was not central to the movement nor any part of the mainstream movement and I'll concede that.
But people believe the earth is flat too.
