Short changed by an SP?

Hi terb,

I'm new to the game and I had an odd situation with an SP after finishing up a session a few moments ago. Essentially, I booked and paid for 1.5 hours but was rushed out after an hour. I'm fairly non-confrontational, so I just kindly left without saying anything.

We did everything that I wanted to do, including one COF pop shot in the hour. Afterwards, we couldn't get buddy up again after the both of us trying and she started wrapping up - I didn't raise much of a fuss and left on good terms. What's the etiquette in these situations - is it appropriate to ask for a partial refund? (I'm guessing no, given the nature of the service)

Nevertheless, I'm going to chalk this up as a learning experience and won't let it affect my involvement in hobbying. Personally, going forward, I'm going to:

• book 1hr sessions because I have a physical limitation
• book more established/experienced SPs (she had okay reviews, but is fairly new)
• book earlier in the day (I was her last client and it seemed that she really wanted to end her day)

I think you answered your own question with what you plan on doing going forward.

You certainly can't ask for a refund because you can't get it up and she doesn't feel like shooting the breeze. Many good SP's would probably offer something like massage or small talk because you are paying for their time, but I think a lot of them in this situation might also say "ah, he can't go again so were done here".


I mean what was it that you wanted her to do after? Chat with you? If that's the case, I would also inform future SP's that this sometimes happens to you and if does, you would like to at least spend time getting to know them as that's what your paying for.

Well put. You can't use the remaining time as you'd hoped, but neither can she fill the time she set aside for you with a new booking. She's not 'entitled' to rush you out, any more than you're 'entitled' to a refund if buddy's done in. The two of you already did a deal for the time, the two of you need to do a new deal for a shorter time, or figure out a mutually agreeable way to spend it together, if more rumpy-pumpy's out of the question.

As with any negotiation, it's best to have a proposal, and an alternative ready before you go in.

I don't think an average lady would offer you a refund in your situation. As bbl says, normally a conscientious lady will give you a massage or offer you a drink or something or shoot the breeze until the time is up. Your plan for going forward sounds reasonable, but booking 1 hr instead of 1.5 hrs though, should not be because of your limitation, but is well-advised if you are seeing the lady for the first time. After the first time, if you two connect and have good chemistry, then by all means extend to a longer session on subsequent visits.

As already said above, or as Clint Eastwood said " a man's got to know his limitations". Don't be a dick about it. Leave. We aren't that fascinating as a rule. Give the girl a break. You aren't a msog kind of guy. Sounds like she more than met your demands. Pay the lady and go. Give her a break. I used to linger with an atf for the full hour, as I was watching the clock and noticing we still had lots of time left. She was tolerant up until the time she wasn't any more. I should have taken the hint. I pay my current atf for the full hour, knowing we will have navigated all 4 points of the compass, or whatever the expression is, in half an hour. Yes we only pay for time. Maybe we get lucky on the other dimension lol. However, I think if YOU initiate the premature departure, then all is well and good luck to her and no refund. If SHE initiates and pushes you out prematurely, then a refund based on her normal 1 hour rate is in order. If that doesn't happen, do an honest review and move on. Too many awesome canadian ladies to dwell on it.

You have a legitimate grievance. If you paid for 90 minutes, then she shouldn't be showing you the door at 60 minutes.

While she should have given you the full time, releasing that you also have a bit of responsibility to ensure your own enjoyment by re-evaluating some of your needs and wants, is really a great reflection of who you are and will help you narrow down your hobbying to getting a better hit to miss ratio.

I think a review is a way to go as well. Since you did read some reviews on her, you should give back to the community.

And I think you are right with your plan going forward. My only suggestion for the future would be to request something like a massage at the end to ensure you do get your full time should something like this arise again.

I think many times it will also depend on chemistry which is the norm in business. I mean.... if they're clicking on a personal level, I'm sure many SP's have no problem sticking around for the 30 minutes. If she thinks the guy's a total weirdo or something, she's gonna get the hell out of there as soon as she can.
