Ok, so this is the last hour that I'm twenty-something. :(

Tell me that turning 30 isn't that bad. Please.

I hear it gets weird at 40.
Go out and order the one of the follwoing at the bar:
singapore sling
kamakazi
rum/7up
a glass of the best wine/champagne

You'll be hungry for a woman / marriage. Don't let the darkside get you.

The week before you turn 30 with all the anxiety and depression about it is worse than the actual event. To the average person, 30 isn`t much different than 29. The bad part is when you pass 35 and realize you`re closer to 40 than 30. Unlike your 30th which you see coming and are bracing for, the downward slope of your 30s is all the more disheartening because you don`t notice it until it`s there.

You feel good for being the wiser and more mature. The flip side is you gain a few pounds and you constantly wonder why it is you always feel tired.

Late 40's and it's better each year. I feel good about myself which wasn't the case as a young man and my skills have improved in every area.
My dancing still sucks, but alcohol seems to help.

Happy Birthday!
30 isnt so bad. To be honest for me life has gotten better as I have gotten older. Life is what you make of it and age is just a number. I hope your doing something fun for your special day!

You've reached the beginning of the end. I'm pretty close to 30, but this was a tough birthday for me as well. Here's some negative things I've noticed.

1) All your old buddies start to or already have gotten married and have kids
2) Your circle of single friends gets much smaller due to #1 and you feel pressured to settle down and do the same
3) You have to start lieing about your age to young hotties in bars, nightclubs, or whereever
4) You get so busy with work that you lose time and interest in chasing women and start calling SP's
5) You start noticing the occasional grey hair, a sure sign that you're no longer growing, but dieing
6) You have to start working out more or add aerobic exercises to your regular exercise routine

Here's some positive things I've noticed.

1) You become established in your career and start making some really good money
2) Ummm, I can't really think of any more positives. LOL. But, Happy Birthday!

The thirties are great; the forties well, they can be a little tougher; but the fifties--there is something so liberating about being 50.

Take care of your body and it will take care of you for a long time.

You also start getting smarter than women and more vulgar. You start watching your kids grow (and see them being born), a joy onto itself better than whatever you did in your 10's and 20's.
