Guess what? They're your Godchildren for life! I'm not sure it's the same exact thing as shawarma, but the beef sandwich marinated the way they do it from the spit is REALLY something...one of my faves (and I've eaten shawarmas in the Middle East for 15 years).Esco! said:If they have Beef Shawarma they will be my Godchildren for life!!!

I use to get them there until one day the guy behind the counter cleaned off the prep area with the dirtiest rag I ever saw. I just had to leave after seeing that.rama putri said:There's a place right next to the old Paradise Cinema on Bloor St near Ossington.

Go to Ottawa... there's one on every corner... that's way the Lebanese don't play hockey... everytime they're put in the corner they open up a shawarma shop.
that place is gone for good... it is said by the owners of the building that it will become a clothing store...Mr. Downtown said:Theres a beef shawarma place (forget the name) on the north side of Queen West, about 5 +/- doors west of Spadina. The place is kinda a dump but its the best shawarma place Ive come across. Toronto need more shawarma. I miss being in Amsterdam where they are all over the place, are excellent and very clean restaurants.
