My vote goes to the seventeen year old Oskana Baiul (from the Ukraine) when she won the 1994 gold medal in women's figure skating. What a rare young beauty she was before living in the fast lane screwed up her life. She was one of the most perfect packages I have ever seen, when she was seventeen!

I can't believe any of you other good old Canadian boys hadn't thought of Manon Rheume (Hope I spelled her name right!) Love that French Canadian accent as well.
Oh , and what about Josee Chouinard? Sure she never won anything, but she looked so damn cute.

For sexiest female athlete ever, I'd have to go with the already mentioned Anna K. or Katarina Witt. And yes, I agree, I had a thing for both Chris Evert and Dorothy Hamill when I was a kid.
Other tennis players: how about Canada's own Carling Bassett? She was kind of cute.
In figure skating, I like Sasha Cohen, and I too, find something appealing about Irina Slutskaya, and I also like the fact she has "slut" in her name.
Gymnasts: I liked Shannon Miller and thought Dominque Moceanu was the cutest little thing. When I was a kid, there was a Russian gymnast named Nellie Kim at the '76 Olympics who I had a thing for. Then there was the Russian gymnast who competed back in the '96 Olympics. She had kind of high forehead and was considered tall (she was like 5-3). I think she did some nudie layouts for the Russian Playboy. What was her name?

Has anyone else noticed that certain sports either alter a persons body ( performance enhancing drugs? ) or attract a certain body type . Speed skaters all look like pears on steroids ( I wonder if Catriona ever asked her husband " do these tights make my ass look big ? " ), distance runners all look emaciated while sprinters have huge thighs etc . The most attractive to me are the divers ( Annie Pelltier ) , swimmers , soccer and tennis players .
The least attractive as a group have to be golfers . After Carin Koch and Grace Park the rest are quite frankly pretty brutal .

I think Catriona Le May Doan is pretty hot - she has that fresh-faced kind of look to her - not to mention, a great personality to boot!
