True. I can go to court and fight this and it will be one year before anything happens. Also I would have no money in the mean time. If I win I would just make a little more then I got which I know would be taken up by fees. The company I deal with is large and give out package all the time. I got a good package and I know this because I know what other people got when they were layoff. Let just say they took a hit when they let me go. As for a lawyer ya does not hurt to see one. But if I change the terms right now with another counter offer what I want could be off the table. The package give me something to walk away from and find another career if I want.
