Doubt he will play in the post season, but don't think that was the idea anyway. I believe this was to toughen up for the stretch run. I personally think this, along with the Simpson move will pay dividens.

Kathleen

I figure that was what Muckler has in mind.

Ottawa needed a move like this with Bonk and Varada out for another 4 to 5 weeks, and Fisher is still out foe a couple of weeks. This is a certainly a stretch drive move.

Yeah, I can't think this helps the Sens cause AT ALL. Rob Ray is about the most useless addition I could think of. Ah, well .... Hey Mr - you mean if Lalime *gets* hot. ;)

Hey Mr said:
If Lalime stays hot in the playoffs, it might be there year.
I don't think it's going to be their year. Weak goaltending, no chance.

Can Sens fan put an avatar, maybe a limp Canadian flag, in their avatar or some tagline in their signature?

Ray is an awesome addition. Having Simspson, Ray, Neil and Chara on the ice will keep the cowardly Leafs with their spearing, boarding, crosschecking, facewashing and cheap shots in check. Hossa and Alfredsson, already in the top 10 in the League in points, as well as the rest of the team are going to benefit big time ..... hehehe. Bring em on !! Domi is going to shit himself ......ROFLMFAO ! If Simpson and Ray had been around no way Domi would have punched Van Allen while he was recovering from a broken jaw. Rack em up .... hehehe.

Ray and Simpson?!?!?..........pathetic!

The Sens just don't get it. They lack balls and heart.............in that order. You don't address overall team toughness by signing a couple of over-the-hill speedbags.
Right now there is a puddle of drool at the feet of Wade Belak salivating over the thought of dropping the mitts with those two stiffs.
(is that really the best that Muckler can do?)

Craven.

Even the Leaf "fans" on this board have given up on Domi. He's a has been. Cheapskate artist. Buffoon. Clown. Actor. Cry Baby, Coward. Just waiting for him to someday deck a Jagr, Yzerman or Lemieux.

If Belak squares off with either Chara, Ray or Simpson he's dog meat, a rag doll, jello, on depends for the rest of his life.

Watch Ray smoke Odgers ..... hehehe. Click under classics. Rack em up .... hehehe.

I don't recall mentioning Domi there Jimbo.
Belak vs. Chara would be a great scrap and I'm hoping to see it soon. (no rag doll this time bucko!)
But to get all hyped up about Simpson and Ray just tells the world that Sens fans of your ilk are merely grasping at straws. What's Ray now? Forty? (LOL)
Ten years ago your post might have made sense but in 2004 it's just ridiculous.
Simpson?!? Like I said............strictly a speedbag. He might be ready and willing..............but he simply is just not able.

Hehehe!

Pansey,

I don't think the Leafs should be too concerned about Ray. Last time I looked Toronto and Boston were ahead of Ottawa. Should the season end today, the Sens would actually have to win a playoff round before they could sniff the Leafs jock straps!!

Oh and by the way, Ray may be a goon but he's not an idiot. How often do you see bench clearing brawls in the playoffs?? Ray does not = a cup. The Sens still lack heart that will win them a cup.

Ray's not likely to play in the play-offs. He didn't last year (I'm telling you that cuz you probably stopped watching AFTER THE LEAFS WERE DECIMATED IN THE FIRST ROUND .... HEHEHE) when the Sens nearly defeated Jersey in game 7 two rounds later .... hehehe.

Domi and Belak are shitting themselves. No doubt about it ..... hehehe. Simpson, Ray or Chara would totally destroy and humiliate them ...... rack em up !!!!

Craven:

Rob Ray is 35 ( not 40 ) and if you look at the Sens line up right now they needed another forward.

Why bring Simpson into this thread? He's a good solid stay at home defenceman, something Toronto could have used.

Kathleen agreed that Ray was a good addition for the stretch run, she also believe's that Domi is an idiot. It is time for you other Leaf fans atleast to call a spade a spade. I respect Kathleen for doing so.

As to the post about if the playoffs started today, well, let us leave that until the end of the season and see what the standings are on April 4th before we start all this talk about the playoffs.

I see the pansy's back in force. Ah, well - I'm glad people aren't quoting him, at least - I can only imagine the drivel he's spouting. Anyway, just ignore him and he'll go away, folks.
:)
Oh, for those who are interested:
Tie Domi - 225 points in 920 career games
Rob Ray - 90 points in 894 games
Ray's an ABSOLUTE STIFF - Domi at least know's where the net is. I'd classify Ray as a goon (and an old one, at that), Domi an enforcer, for what it's worth.

scubadoo, don't you think that Ray does NOTHING for the lineup?! Surely there were other forwards that could have been added for practically nothing. Guys who can do something other than fight?? Guys who have been playing for the last year??? I mean, if Domi's "an idiot", what's Ray (not that I think it really has anything to do with hockey, but)?

The lack of team toughness can't be addressed by adding goons. It applies to the guys who are out there carrying the load of ice time - THEY need to be tough, to be able to withstand the rigours of being pounded by skaters who are looking to knock them around.
If the Sens are tough enough, fine - why did they add Ray? If they weren't - why did they add Ray?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but a really objective Sens observer might think this acquisition is - well, let's call a spade a spade - pathetic.

I saw on the Score that Corson is skating and training; and has stated that he has recieved offers from several teams.

I think it would be funny if Ottawa signed him.

It might make more sense than the Ray signing.

Domi had twice the ice time Doofus, because he's played virtually all his career along side talentless, cowardly goofballs. Ray has seen limited ice time on an organization with depth, skills and outstanding goaltending.
Domi's a bufoon and the laughing stock of the country with his clown act. Stick a red ball on his nose ..... hehehe.
Betcha Chara, Ray and Simpson are arguing right now over who's going to pound the shit out of him ..... hehehe. Turn him into rink board advertising ..... hehehe.
Ranger I can hear your voice trembling from over here. You obviously have major problems with Ray being added to the Sens. Take your meds, you'll feel a lot better ..... hehehe.
