True. It is a bit of a shit show in our nations capital. But I think a good chunk of it is due to the team Dorion built. But, to be honest, I don't follow the Sens to closely...
The only reason the Senators are still in Ottawa is Toronto money. First it was Eugene Melnyck, now it's Michael Andlauer. If the club was left in the tender mercies of local shysters like Bruce Firestone the Sens would have been shipped off to an American city looong ago.

As a Sens fan I can say this season has been deflating.
Below average goaltending and a lack of defensive own zone responsibility is a recipe for disaster in this league.
D.J. can't stop the puck but he should be able to install a system which ensures greater protection.
Perhaps they don't have the personnel to execute a proper system. Jacques Martin will have to find out.
They also dress about three or four guys every night who are NHL calibre I would say.
I like Craig Anderson and all but when he's the best goalie you've had in team history, who's played at least one season. You know you're not developing properly.
