The way these vehicles already drive like the vid clips I posted they have no chance in Toronto to do well lol.

If some passengers are already screaming while sitting in the back then enjoy all the hooking during rush hour if the vehicle won't force a left turn during rush hour and just waits and waits. Road rage will be up.

This discussion is too funny. You guys make it sound like Toronto is so complex and chaotic to drive in. Sorry, but Toronto is nothing. I use Tesla FSD for 90% of my trips and it does fantastic driving the mean streets of toronto. The only fault I give it is that it is too nice letting cars in. I on the other hand will let no one in if the try to cut the line. Winter is more of a challenge not because of slippery conditions or lack of lane markings, but because my car is vision only so when the cameras are covered, the car will disengage. Tesla cybercabs have washers so that shouldn’t be an issue. Waymo with all their sensors should do even better.

Has your Telsa experienced stuff like some of the things in the Waymo vid clips?

i like driving too much to bother using or getting in a self driving car it'd take away the fun of being in a car

And there you have it...a Waymo making a left turn not even at traffic lights and struggles.

Good luck making that left turn during rush hour at intersections like Jane/Finch, etc.

This is worse than most drivers in the GTA...blocking traffic while trying to turn left. Can't accelerate when required to go with the flow of traffic. Passengers in the back laughing/screaming is annoy af!

Will you every buy one? Will you ever get into one such as a taxi?

Me? No.
unfortunately, we all will, actually, after thy ban human drivers.

And they certainly will, at least on normal roads.

Those that love more government control will love this. And of course EVERY trip you make will be recorded.

Gees, all this talk of this or that fault is just chump change, of COURSE all these issues will be remedied.

You learn from mistakes, eventually you become perfect.

I won't be inside one regardless it's a taxi. Especially during snow fall especially north of GTA.

I'd love to see one navigate the crumbling roads, unpainted, giant potholes, and endless detours in Montreal. So, I think we're safe over here for a long while. I'd take one in Toronto though.

I'm sure ladies who offer carcalls could implement that into their service. Hopefully the vehicle doesn't malfunction if it starts to shake a bit while it's driving...now we got 2 messes to deal with :cautious:
