I personally don't think men are more lonely than women. How does a person categorically decide from anecdotal short-sidedness that men are lonely? Personally, I find my male friends happy and content. Most do hobby, but that has nothing to do with loneliness, just a safe hobby. Like going to the spa, but with a bit more extra at the end. Safe and fun. Has nothing to do with loneliness. I kind of think loneliness would be counter to hobbying, as it would compound the lack of attachment.

Not sure what the op’s intention is but maybe they’re projecting? In which case, sorry to hear OP. I think people find themselves in this hobby wanting to fulfil natural human needs, connection either physically, emotionally etc. At the end of the day, it is possible to establish a genuine rapport and cultivate a relationship between provider and client, even if it’s only within a certain time period. I find the OPs post comes across as a little condescending, these gents are already putting so much trust in you to provide a safe space while in a vulnerable situation, if you think someone’s sad why not take the opportunity to turn things around and make their day?

Maybe there’s only so much that can be done on our end, and for some it may not be enough… but it’s okay to not be ok, rather than sit, comment and ponder how can we help make a difference? ☮

Good analysis Maddie. The OP is making a generalization and may be projecting, as you noted.

You set the gold standard for the GFE, with consideration for your client's psychological, emotional and physical balance.

You're open-minded, non-judgmental, look for the good in everyone, and the positive in everything. It's inspiring to read your thoughtful & insightful posts.

Was thinking of you last night, and came up with an idea for our next session. Something interesting and unique, imo.

Stay beautiful and TTYL 😘
