It is so refreshing to see an "old school" newsreader/reporter like Scott Pelley reading the news on tv. He is not interested in becoming a rock star newsreader. He is only interested in reporting "hard news", not crap like the size of Anthony Weiner's thingy.

It was painful to watch Katie. Pelley has become a terrific and serious reporter. Great choice, though nothing can stop the ratings slide of network news.

A journalistic hack-faced weasel...he'd sell his soul for any news story...and has, in my opinion, all the journalistic ethics of William Randolph Hearst. I'm only suprised Rupert Murdoch hasn't hired him yet.

I found I had a love hate relationship with Pelley as a 60 Minutes correspondant. Loved the quality and delivery of his stories, hated the content!He was like Dr. Doom, paricularly through the econmic downturn. Week after week of misery and hardship.
