Scammers have become the Bane of the Internet.

YT in particular has been flooded with scammers and bots. I'm at the point where I'm going to delete the platform from system. There's a chain reaction happening that's going to cost a lot of people a lot of money. The chain is linked to a so-called investment banker. Being a flinty eyed skeptical prick I looked him up - I found nothing. So I did a search on Google International and there he was. His resume says he worked for Bear Sterns and Bank of America before setting up his own investment firm.

...sounds like a CDO pitchman to me.

Billy Magnussen plays Paulie Walnuts in the upcoming Sopranos prequel. He's the blond haired mortgage broker in this clip. Being a horny prick, I had to look up the stripper.

Tobey McGuire has been blacklisted by Hollywood for fronting a Ponzi scheme. To avoid prosecution he turned California State witness, he forfeited his acting career to stay out of jail.

Tobey McGuire and Molly Bloom probably had no idea what they were getting into. When all the easy money started to come into the poker games, McGuire fired Bloom. She ended up going to prison, she wouldn't rat on the people who made her temporarily rich.

To answer a question posed to me.

Yes, the Tobey McGuire story is very real. McGuire was a degenerate gambler who couldn't comprehend what he allowed to unfold. Along the way some high profile Hollywood insiders got burned, including his gumba Leonardo De Caprio and Ben Affleck. McGuire is not out of the fire yet, one of the ex- hedge fund managers who developed the scheme is suing for the $80,000.00 he lost at poker. I recommend you watch Molly's Game written and directed by Aaron Sorkin (Too Big to Fail) and starring Jessica Chastain as Molly Bloom and Brampton's Michael Cera (although not by name) as Toby McGuire.

I should mention that Andrew Sorkin wrote Too Big to Fail - keep in mind that Berkshire - Hathaway owns Viking Press. Aaron Sorkin made the HBO film. William Hurt was Brilliant (what else is new) as Hank Paulson.

As for Leo, he lost some moolah but he rebounded nicely. He got himself a new gumba and won an Oscar. The anti-poaching project is still in the books (of course they'll get finance) but remains unwritten. It's up to Leo and Tom to make the time to get it done.
