It’s me again!

Some of you that are new might be confused/worried about certain practices and wondering if you’re about to get scammed. Please keep in mind that before trusting anything or anyone, you should always do a research and confirm that the SP is who they say they are, that they exist and that there wasn’t any incident of scamming reported.

“She asked me to send her a Uber gift card for her transportation to my place”
Standard practice. Our main concern when accepting an outcall booking, after safety, is to show up to the address and being ghosted. To avoid this situation happening, we often ask for a gift card, some ask for a etransfer to make sure the person is serious.

“She asked me to pay for the full session with a xyz gift card prior to meeting”
It definitely sounds like a scam, chances are the person will block you and never answer your text messages/emails.

“I texted her that I had arrived at the address, she told me the door was unlocked and to just let myself in”
Unless you know the person, that you’ve read online that it was normal with her, I would advise not to walk in. While it is not a scam, it could be a trap. Someone other than the person on the photo could be waiting for you in the apartment.

“She only texted me a street corner and no exact address”
Standard practice. Imagine if we just have our address to anyone messaging us without any proofs they’re serious about coming to see us.

“I gave her the cash in hand and she stepped out to go somewhere else”
It could be a scam. She might have stepped out to give the money to someone else, in that case many times a “boyfriend” will show up and ask you to leave. In some cases it could just be that she doesn’t trust you and just wanted to hide the money (people wouldn’t usually show you where tho so refer to first possibility)

“I gave her the cash in hand and she asked me to shower”
Standard practice but could also be a scam. A lot of us will ask you to shower so that we can hide the money without you knowing where it is. It could sometimes be a situation similar to the one above, a “boyfriend” might wait for you when you get out of the shower.

“She gave me the address, I texted her that I was there. She asked me to e-transfer the full amount and that she’ll come down to open the door”
It’s a scam. She’s never going to come down and pick you up. She probably gave you a random address.

“She gave me the address, I texted her that I was there and she asked me for a photo of the building”
Standard practice. Some providers just want to make sure that you really are there and that you’re not just collecting addresses.

Most of these are "new" standard practices as a percentage of time terb has existed and somewhere JUST scams before. The uber gift card for example or variations where all from the scam community. How it became acceptable I do not know since scammers still use it frequently. With the new laws the photo of building should not be allowed its bad practice all around for privacy reasons and chain of evidence thought just like cloud strike was a myth till it happened the genie has not be released out that bottle - but it will in a few years like the Ashley Madison explosion.
Nothing wrong with people doing x or y just if its bad for you - as these practices are generally - don't participate and find another provider. Its the digital version of going without protection. The great exception is personal recommendations and/or digital recommendations from reviewers you trust. But even then it sets up bad precedents in general, like cookies on your computer which where once optional or two factor identification (a scam used by very reptable corps)

“I gave her the cash in hand and she stepped out to go somewhere else”

Gave her $500 for two hours. She said she was going to freshen up in the next apartment. Two guys walked in not long after and told me to take a hike, which I did in a hurry. Did only outcall after that until I found two regulars. Not trying new girls any more.

These are just a few of the reasons why I'm an "agencies only" guy...

As well, many many years ago when "Back Pages' was a thing I soon learned that indies were often not as represented, and that they often double-booked because of guys who "no showed", and ghosted me when I arrived near their location.

I've actually saw someone where they said just come on in door is open. While she was perfectly legit , on hindsight now that yu mention it......could be a red flag

I think I've been rather fortunate with indies. In hindsight I should be more careful.

Can you provide case law examples of where simply being somewhere led to someone being arrested for procurement?

I've had a few "don't knock just enter" and all were fine (I believe all, or at least majority, were agencies). I think they were trying to not draw attention from the neighbours who hear the knocks and then note the traffic to a given door.

Not finding out the exact address until just before the session is pretty standard practice.

Same with getting the buzz code and unit number.

I've also had it happen a few times where they told me to just enter. With one lady she keeps the door slightly ajar, but her unit is close to the elevator. One lady even told me to make it look like I was answering a text if there was anyone in the hallway.

Hell, I make it point of making sure the hallways is empty before knocking.
