Some of you that are new might be confused/worried about certain practices and wondering if you’re about to get scammed. Please keep in mind that before trusting anything or anyone, you should always do a research and confirm that the SP is who they say they are, that they exist and that there wasn’t any incident of scamming reported.
“She asked me to send her a Uber gift card for her transportation to my place”
Standard practice. Our main concern when accepting an outcall booking, after safety, is to show up to the address and being ghosted. To avoid this situation happening, we often ask for a gift card, some ask for a etransfer to make sure the person is serious.
“She asked me to pay for the full session with a xyz gift card prior to meeting”
It definitely sounds like a scam, chances are the person will block you and never answer your text messages/emails.
“I texted her that I had arrived at the address, she told me the door was unlocked and to just let myself in”
Unless you know the person, that you’ve read online that it was normal with her, I would advise not to walk in. While it is not a scam, it could be a trap. Someone other than the person on the photo could be waiting for you in the apartment.
“She only texted me a street corner and no exact address”
Standard practice. Imagine if we just have our address to anyone messaging us without any proofs they’re serious about coming to see us.
“I gave her the cash in hand and she stepped out to go somewhere else”
It could be a scam. She might have stepped out to give the money to someone else, in that case many times a “boyfriend” will show up and ask you to leave. In some cases it could just be that she doesn’t trust you and just wanted to hide the money (people wouldn’t usually show you where tho so refer to first possibility)
“I gave her the cash in hand and she asked me to shower”
Standard practice but could also be a scam. A lot of us will ask you to shower so that we can hide the money without you knowing where it is. It could sometimes be a situation similar to the one above, a “boyfriend” might wait for you when you get out of the shower.
“She gave me the address, I texted her that I was there. She asked me to e-transfer the full amount and that she’ll come down to open the door”
It’s a scam. She’s never going to come down and pick you up. She probably gave you a random address.
