Scam phone call day

LOL, just received 2 scam phone calls this morning.

1-automated voice :"There are charges against a credit card that look suspicious. etc...press 1 to accept charges or 2 to cancel charges etc.....

2-automated voice: "There are fraud charges filed against your SIN#, call us immediately to avoid being arrested! etc......


#2 has called me several times in the past, I'm still waiting to be arrested by RCMP!


People still fall for these scams!

Its not a scam. All you need to do is send them some bitcoins and the charges will be dropped.
Think of it, no criminal record dude. Whats not to like?!

I get them both regularly. I usually just use call block but they change the numbers so often that it doesn't always catch them. I have noticed lately that they have been using numbers that are from your exchange so you think it is someone from your town or area and you answer only to get the recording. Boggles the mind that people actually get scammed by this but I guess PT Barnum was right. There's a sucker born every day"

I will push whatever button to be connected to fuck head. Its always a voice with a really thick Indian accent and a sure fire way to drive the guy mental is to claim you just fucked his wife.

Things like, "she loves it when i finger her asshole, she tells me that you don't know of how to please her."

Or, " she tells me you have a small cock and she finds it sad and thats why she loves sucking my cock"

Or, "she tells me that your mother hates her and she is so tired of you only caring about your mother that she has decided to take many new lovers".

Even though logically they know you're pranking them, they can't help but get really riled up.

Works every time trust me.

This is funny. As I was reading this thread, an incoming call was ringing on my cell. Since I didn't recognize the number, I just waited for a voice mail. There was no subsequent voice message which led me to google the number. The number was 1-800-175-2900 and was traced to be a scam.

I had an Asian woman recording call both my work desk # and my cell # today. They must have spotted me coming out of an Asian incall or AMP. LOL

Wonder if today marked some sort of change in the rules concerning scam calls?

Scam call centres have entered "Stage 3" of pandemic re-openings, lol

Had some scam artist’s call me two days in a row
Both claimed to be RCMP and the last one had a funny sounding British accent ... took a lot out of me to control my laughter when he requested my SIN to “help me” sort out my legal problems

Even if 1 person in 10,000 falls for this scam it's still worth it for the scammer. Gone are the days where you need special and expensive software and hardware to setup a call centre. The tech is basically free these days so anyone can do it.

See, you lot have a problem I don't. My fine character has actually led a real Nigerian Prince to park some money in my account, and i get to keep 20% of it!! So I'm sorry to hear of those scammers, I guess some of us just get lucky, but then again, my fine character...

I always tell them at the start that I am recording the call for "quality purposes"... that always throws them. Then I ask the CRA fellow for my SIN since I have forgotten mine.... They pretty much hang up at that point.
