A couple of months ago, Bell sent out new cards for all existing users of their service, as of May 30, all older cards will be blocked..prelations said:I heard this week there's going to be a huge blitz on all providers. (expressvu also!)
I guess you never heard of there new location ID test. If you don’t have all the receivers connected to the same phone line they will call you up, ask you to turn on each TV in your house and read to them the location ID number. This is a number they will send to each receiver that will be unique for each receiver when they call. If you don’t have all the receivers in your house you then can’t tell them what all the location ID numbers are… then they will turn off all the receivers you can’t provide location ID’s for. Good luck with your plan… don’t worry they thought of it too… not going to work very long they way you plannedSvend said:They jumped the gun on my card, cancelled it in the last week of March so I had to scramble to get set up with my new one.
Bell ExpressVu has a little known feature, you can have up to 6 machines and cards on one account. I've been doing this for 3 years. They only need to be set up from the original phone number, after that they can be distributed among your friends and family. This is meant to be for your various bedrooms and rec rooms but works fine in different cities.
Split 6 ways, I don't mind paying that kind of bill.
