A tale of two countries. Korea protects and supports their indigenous companies like Samsung. Meanwhile the Harper Tories take out TV ads demonizing indigenous Canadian companies.

Being an owner of both the Samsung S3 and the iPhone 4S, and not an owner of much intelligence but plenty of experience... I've gotta say, The iPhones are much more user friendly!
Despite what the market says, temporarily... They'll for sure be on a comeback once they phase out dead products like ipods and whatever else they have in their warehouse that no one purchases anymore. The dead guy was so innovative and savvy that Apple will likely forever be an iCon!

Being an owner of both the Samsung S3 and the iPhone 4S,
Obviously it is personal preference. I own both iPhone and the S3 but it isn't just the larger screen and better feature set of the Android phone for me. It is the lack of freedom and program-ability that pissed me off about Apple. No battery, no expansion, all software from Apple - they even refused to replace my defective power cord because I jailbreak the phone. I had to take my SO's phone to get a warranty replacement of a power cord.

I know widgets, keyboards, live wallpaper can be a daunting experience for those not technically inclined so I do recommend iPhone for the elderly and young kids. I'm not married to all things Samsung - I will not hold on to a clearly inferior product out of brand loyalty. I will purchase the best that I can find which is the only reason I left Apple and probably the same reason I will leave Samsung in the future.

Since this thread is about investments, not technology, shouldn't it be in the business forum?

Samsung stock drops and its no big deal.

Apple does and as usual, they're doomed ad nauseam.

Looks like a GREAT BUYING opportunity, eh!
Time to buy a few K shares, like bottie & nibs, and ride it up to $1,000......
