Trump only cheats. All the Repuglican objections to the 2020 vote count were dismissed by officials of all political stripes. Every court filing was dismissed ( over 60). It was al bullshit, just like the crap about the double counted votes in Georgia. Just a smoke screen by the cheating Trumpsters to counter the unrefutable evidence of the recorded phone call when the felon=in-chief tried to intimidate the Georgia election official into fabricating 12000 votes for him. And there are other cases of Trump's meddling, but thanks to the corrupt Supreme Court, these cases will be thrown out due to blanket immunity. So much for democracy....

There was a double counting of actual ballots from an area, so it was mixed.
If I recall, it favored Trump, but it wasn't 100% Trump ballots added in.
It was a mistake that went Trump's way but wasn't enough to change the outcome.

Republicans have been caught voting for dead people, it is true.
Making voting day a federal holiday has been proposed many times.
The GOP keeps shooting it down.
It makes it easier for people who work for a living to vote and that isn't something the GOP wants.
Mitch McConnell even called it a power grab when he helped block it the last time I remember it getting to the Senate.
“Just what America needs, another paid holiday and a bunch of government workers being paid to go out and work ... [on Democratic] campaigns,” he snarked on the Senate floor. “This is the Democrat plan to restore democracy? ... A power grab.”

It's the GOP blocking an election holiday.
As for voter ID, if the GOP would agree to allowing valid IDs to be used, that could probably be passed, but that's another one where the GOP refuses to get on board.

While I obviously disagree with you on lots of things, kudos for being consistent here.
I honestly think you could get pretty wide support for a bunch of real electoral reforms.
I just despair of the GOP ever supporting those since so much of their strategy is based on voter suppression.
I've always been impressed how much of the fervent discussion on voter fraud is designed to make people stoooopid.
You can't vote twice. Your vote, and your signature, is checked against the voter roll. If you sign in in person, then your mail in is discarded. To flood in illegal votes you need to know names, need to know their signature, and know they didn't vote already as just a start. You can't vote in person in a precinct that you're not registered in.
So these people blathering on saying "fraud, so my guy won" is classic third world dictator tactics (delegitimize the election by screaming about rigging and fraud prior, try to fuck up the vote, cry fraud afterward and fight it out on the street to take power). Keep in mind also that the recounts almost always, when they did show a minor change, showed a shift toward Biden. Also keep in mind Biden was polling 7 points ahead of Trump, and won by 4. And the vast majority of those caught committing fraud were Trump voters.
And, as Vacazar says, all the sensible reforms are blocked by the Republicans. (E.g., make election day a holiday, or even move it to a weekend). In Oz it's a weekend (and, BTW, mandatory -pay a fine if you don't vote - because the logic was make everyone vote you're a lot less likely to get extreme candidates, and you vote preferences). All the extreme measures are used by Rs to suppress the black/ D vote (e.g., in the white suburbs the wait to vote is measured in minutes, in the black inner city it is measured in hours. And that's why laws against giving a bottle of water to voters in queue was passed by Rs - it would make it more likely a black voter would say "fuck it" and go home and not vote after waiting 4 hours in queue. There are no such queues in the white areas). There is clear evidence the Rs studied how Ds vote and pass laws that disproportionately affect Ds (eg uni ID not acceptable ID but NRA membership card is acceptable).
