Exactly. That's the problem of trying to shutdown criticism because it's somehow "disrespectful." As with all issues, there are going to be grey areas. It seems to me that some people refuse to accept that there can be a grey area or multiple ways of looking at a situation. I guess that they have been conditioned to think in absolutes, but the world doesn't work that way.
If it truly is "disrespectful" to criticize a dead person then you also accept that there is a limit on free speech.
