The question is will he ever actually pay? Alex Jones is a perfect example of living the life still without paying the price.

It is messed up when someone who loses a major lawsuit isn't forced to sell off assets. I don't believe Alex Jones has yet paid a cent to the Sandy Hook complainants.
I do not know about now but at one time (and perhaps now( Florida and certain other states(I think Texas) were know as homestead states. That is your home was exempt from your creditors on bankruptcy. That is why at one time the surest sign that a company was going bankrupt was when the partners or senior executives started buying very expensive home in Florida.

I can understand one's personal home being exempt. Everyone should have a roof over their head but these folks have investments coming out of the yin-yang that should be tapped into. If it is an estate home, then forced to downsize and the access funds go to the complainants. In the meantime, folks like Alex and now Rudy will continue to live their lavish lifestyle albeit in their inner thoughts they are seething at the lengths they must go to, to hide their wealth.

I agree but the rules in the American system for property, taxes etc are made for the lower and middle classes. The rules are made to help the rich get richer and to keep and preserve their assets.

it is like someone once said… if I owe a million dollars I have a problem… if I owe you a billion dollars we have a problem.. that has been the basis upon which trip has always carried on business. You need only look at his bankruptcy of the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City or the Plaza etc. same with the banking crisis and bailouts. I agree that the bailouts were necessary but they were all done on very very favourable terms to bankers who had already made a ton of money.
