The most suprising thing about this story is that there was a media blackout of this story because it was thought to be offensive to Muslim Arabs.

I guess it's wise to read the farking manual before taking the world's largest passenger plane for a test.

The most suprising thing about this story is that there was a media blackout of this story because it was thought to be offensive to Muslim Arabs.

That was one damn expensive mistake!

Given past French concern about offending arab countries (of course post French involvement in Algeria), I'm not particularly surprised that they were in a tizz about possibly giving offense.

Likely Airbus would rather be paid for the plane than making a publicity
stunt of it. Methink Boing would have done exactly the same.
