He might make good money but he's not very smart. Making $350K a year has nothing to do with being ignorant or not.
This is something that poor people like to say, and there is a lot of them. The ratio is something like 99 to 1. But the 1% doesn't require their validation.

Anyone working at Dunkin Donuts needs to serve coffee and donuts to make people happy. It's not that hard. They needn't give skilled tradesmen like roofers a hard time.

Of course context matters.

Why does the YouTuber repeatedly refer to the teenage sales clerk as a "child"? Dude is giving off pedophilic redflags.
Because most likely she is under 21. He does this to emphasize that it's a grown ass man verbally abusing a minor. She's basically just a kid.

If she can take dick from grown men at 18, and go to prison for crimes at 18, she can take verbal flack from a man that she's giving bad service to. Unless you believe that you're paying to fuck "kids" off TERB.

"Verbally abusing a minor" is over-the-top. I didn't see that in the video.

Her and her peers say worse things to each other daily.

On a related note, who are we to assume that "she" is actually a she? Maybe "she" identifies as a 40 year old man.

Now if he realized he made a mistake, went back, apologized, and gave them all $100 Xmas tip, that I could respect. He makes $350K afterall...
I've met plenty of people in my life who have lots of money and are still ignorant fucks. Money doesn't automatically give you good breeding or class or good manners. This guy probably cost himself a lot of business by being an an asshole

So, 30 seconds of video and 4 minutes of opinion? Yeah. THAT is what's wrong with TV news. A bunch of so-called "experts" talking about something that they know virtually nothing about and is likely negligible in the grand scheme of things. It's shameful and embarrassing.....

No wonder sports channels have lots of commentators. Simply filler and more filler.

As for the roofer, he's a dick, but there is no context in the video. The journalism was crap. Crap for "likes" and views.

Absolute garbage.....Not worth my time at all. Thanks, assholes.....

Is the $350,000 plausible? They make good coin but $350,000?
Dartsy, roofers make in the $70,000 - $80,000 range. They can't work in the winter, right?

One of the buildings I used to work in needed a new roof and required people to be security cleared. The project was delayed 6 months because it was so hard to find a roof tarring company where the workers did not have a criminal record. They also had to pay through the nose because of this.

Don't know about you, but I have more respect for the Dunkin' Donuts girl than the supposed rich roofer.
It's not what you earn it's what you SAVE !
I will go a step further and add........it's also what you INVEST!

Empty cans always make the most noise !
I do not generally poke my interest into others affairs but in this case I'd break character and make the exception. If you're a solid man focused on your program and purpose in life, it pays no dividends to belittle others. It seems making a little extra coin in life is a new concept to him, and he can't handle it, men with money are low key and definitely not the loudest in the room. Cheers

We need another drywaller video. It seems they have more fun.

P.S. I knew it, so roofers don't make $350,000. If they did, there would be a million more roofers. Supply and demand.

no context is necessary. You do not yell at service worker. If you don't like their service or attitude you buy your coffe and donuts elsewhere. Only pieces of shit yell at service worker like this.
Absolutely context matters.

If she was giving him attitude as he was trying to order or asking questions, which based on his opening remarks it sounds likely, then he absolutely has a right to stand up for himself. It doesn't matter that she is a teenager. She is old enough to work the job, then she is old enough to be responsible for how she acts on the job. She resorted to name calling. In saying he was ignorant. He simply defended himself on that remark.

Up until that point he was simply telling her that what ever happened earlier that accounted for whatever transpired before the video started, was being directed at the wrong person.

So, if she was giving him attitude when he was trying to order, which I have experienced multiple times from many a lazy ass kid who is stealing $15 an hour for not even doing their job, then he was 1000% in the right.
Who is he supposed to complain to, when managers are no longer around anymore.

The fact that so few were able to assess the video the way you did is why I'd choose a judge over a jury of my peers if I ended up in court any day.

The "context doesn't matter" argument means you've already given up any semblance of reason right from the start. It's also why clickbait and fake media narratives work so well.

If you're a teenager and you're way out of line, you SHOULD be called out by your elders. It doesn't happen enough these days.

Called out does not mean yelling at her and bragging that since you make 350k a year and ridiculed her that she's making 15 box an hour. Only fucking prick do that.

Called out would mean calmly expressing what went wrong and that you will simply go elsewhere because you are dissatisfied with the service you got. So simple.
