McLean = Weasel.........It’s always the same…Mr Self-Righteous has studied the hometown so he can drop names to act like he knows all about the town…they will have some sort of feature on womens hockey, which is getting overblown considering no one watches it.
The concept is good, I just would like to see someone else than Ron McLean.
I don't think Mr Self-Righteous does any studying. Apparently he has a team of researchers who do all his work and he takes all the credit. I don't mind watching women's hockey, soccer or basketball as long as it's at the highest level and involves Canada.McLean = Weasel.........
Sorry, its Roger's Hometown hockey not CBCI’m sick of the CBC constantly shovelling gender and race politics down my throat. I want to watch hockey and I want the intermission to be fun and entertaining.
CBC hasn't produced hockey in like 8 years. And even when they hosted Hockey Night In Canada, it was an outside production company that ran the show.I’m sick of the CBC constantly shovelling gender and race politics down my throat. The name is Rogers but the actors and script look and smell like CBC. The intermission program is boring and puerile, with a heaping scoop of virtue signalling.Sorry, its Roger's Hometown hockey not CBC
What they look and what they really are, are two different things. You know, the book and cover thing? The name is Rogers but the actors and script look and smell like CBC.

Well said in many waysCBC hasn't produced hockey in like 8 years. And even when they hosted Hockey Night In Canada, it was an outside production company that ran the show.
But, I'll say this. If you love hockey and want to see it grow, encouraging minorities and women to become fans is a great thing. Imagine if your wife or girlfriend was a fan, then you could both watch without her begrudging acceptance....
Finally, women's hockey can be exciting. I think the major issue it faces right now is that there is little production value in the broadcasts, at least compared to what you see for a mid-week Leafs game. It doesn't have the goon shit (for the most part), but a lot of skill. There are some really talented players. If they can get their shit together and have one stable league, I think good things could happen.
I have no issues with anything you have posted. Your points are spot on. For me, women’s hockey is like AHL hockey, it has a fan base and attracts an audience. I’m just not into it. I would be into it if my daughter played absolutely. But as soon she stopped playing, I would lose interest.CBC hasn't produced hockey in like 8 years. EXACTLY!! Which is why I was thrilled when that miserable old cunt Don Cherry was finally given his walking papers after nearly 40 years of trying to bring race and politics into hockey discussions.I’m sick of the CBC constantly shovelling gender and race politics down my throat.
No one (especially me) was particularly thrilled to hear his politics. He was a legend in his own mind and needed the boot. Now lets bury the rest of it and add entertainment into the intermission.
