Anyone else get this call?
Supposed discussion group Sep.4th,and they would like me to attend for a few hours, and they'll give me $75.00 for my time.
I haven't returned their call, and honestly,I feel my time is worth more to me,so I won't be participating, but I wondered if anyone here might have an idea as to what it is all about?

A friend of mine went to one of these sessions. I don't know whether or not it is the same one but they had a meeting to discuss price increases and the best way to let Rogers customers know about the increase. Cable is too expensive now if you ask me.

These are just focus groups. Research companies are contracted to help a company learn about their customers.
I did a couple of these for a bank a while ago. You sit a room and discuss products the bank was offering. One was for RRSP's and the other Mortgages.
The bank's marketing people watched the whole thing thru a 2 way mirror and they taped it.
No big deal if you have the time.
Maybe you should cantact the guy who looking to make extra money to support his hobbying in an earlier thread in your place.
Just trying to help everyone.

Maybe SPs should do this!

Maybe SPs should hold focus groups and have others watch through a 2-way mirror. I guess Eve in Barrie is trying! LOL

I used to attend some of those focus marketing groups on a fairly regular basis just as a way of expanding my social circle. You can run into some interesting women in some of those groups. Pick the ones that seem like they would be of interest to women.
