Huge Pink Floyd fan... always sided with Roger in his beefs with Gilmore... but Waters has gone down the rabbit hole. While he is still right about some things... he is out to lunch on others... and there is no reasoning with him. There never has been.

I deleted him from my social media yesterday. Done with his nonsense.

(He actually picked a fight with Andrew Lloyd Webber and dissed him in Its a Miracle)

Come now, Roger. Tell the real reason for the refusal.

I love Roger Waters. I've seen him in concert probably 10 times. He never disappoints.

Roger is one of the very few people out there who can say what he wants politically without the fear of a backlash from the powers that be. He's rich, he's one of the most famous musicians in the world, his music is brilliant and he still puts on the most phenomenal concerts ever that consistently sell out.

In short, he gets to say "Fuck you" to his detractors. Gotta respect that.

God's speed Roger.

Zuckerberg is just a common thief who stole the idea of Facebook from the winklevoss twins.

Roger Waters - Perfect Sense

And the Jews killed the Arabs
And the Arabs killed the hostages
And that is the news
And is it any wonder
That the monkey's confused"

Regardless of what you think about Waters as a person, you cannot deny his impact on music and culture. He will never sell the rights to The Wall. Never in a million years. At the end of the day it is a Waters solo album that happens to be performed by Pink Floyd. It is his baby.
I have seen him perform it live three times (Berlin 1990, Toronto 2010 and 2012). and every one was truly spectacular.

"We cower in our shelters
With our hands over our ears
Lloyd-Webber's awful stuff
Runs for years and years and years

An earthquake hits the theatre
But the operetta lingers
Then the piano lids comes down
And break his fucking fingers
It's a miracle"

Yawns

And Zucker simply moved on to spend those big bucks on another artist who was a smidge less insane

Waters trashes everyone (even his bandmates)
The band had a major shift after he left (many claim they sold out)

LoL

Do you think Waters cares if Zukerberg spends his money on another artist?

And please enlighten me as to how "many people" claim Pink Floyd sold out after Roger Waters left. As a huge fan of the Floyd, that's a statement I've never heard. Not even Roger Waters has said that one. (And if he felt that was true, you can bet your ass he would have said it.)

I loved his music in the 80’s, too!

However, after his last tour that I went to see, he’s like an angry old man yelling at the clouds. Shane really but it is what it is.

I saw 2 of 3 of his shows for the US and Them Concert series at ACC in 2017.

Both shows were brilliant.

I severely doubt you were at any of the three shows. No-one who is a fan of Floyd or Roger Waters in particular goes to a Roger Waters concert expecting Mr. Rogers to "shut up and sing". Not unless you're fucking stupid.

In his last concert series, Roger made no bones about how disgusting a person Donald Trump is. That was conveyed to the audience in the imagery he uses in his concerts. The thing is, I agreed 100 percent with him. Donald Trump is a sack of human shit.

Now if you're a Donald Trump bootlicker, well, you probably didn't like the show. But again, no-one goes to a Roger Waters Concert not expecting to hear or see some political message.

Roger has always voiced his support for the little guy in this world, the oppressed and veterans as well. He abhors war and the people who cause wars. He's been like this for 50 years.

So here's a link to a full show last go round at the ACC. Please review and point out exactly where you feel Roger is "an angry old man yelling at the clouds". I'd really like to see it.

By the way, the part about Trump being a sack of shit starts around 1:20:00. You can hear the people laughing at the Trump imagery.
