I said it before one of the best rock albums ever IMO. Knopfler is a great guitar player. He did a few great solo albums, Kill to get Crimson, Privateering and a duet album with Emmy Lou Harris, who was my favourite female country singer, All The Road Running which was terrific. The songs on these records were more of a folk and country style, very laid back with simple lyrics but fun to listen to.

Still the King, over 60 years since "Kid Galahad" was released. I always wondered if Elvis got lucky with Joan Blackman, who also co-starred with the King in "Blue Hawaii."
Elvis, "I Got Lucky," Enjoy.

From the early days of rock and roll, a voice that, at the tender age of 21, was silenced "the day the music died," on February 3, 1959 in Clear Lake Iowa.
The Great Buddy Holly, "Maybe Baby," Enjoy.
My first rock & roll idol at age 16. Had hair then, did the front forehead curl, wore glasses and they were dark rimmed like his. Bought almost everything he recorded from his days with the Crickets and later on, too bad how he was killed. The Day The Music Died.
